  • Senior Quantitative Researcher, Code for America

Allie is a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Code for America. She enjoys building systems, helping people, and telling stories with data. Prior to CFA, she worked at Twitter and the New York Times, and earned her PhD in computer science at University of Colorado Boulder supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). Her research often uses methods from causal inference and network science, joins surveys with big data, and examines social inequalities using statistics. Her work has been published in PNAS, Science Advances and Nature Human Behavior, and has been covered by outlets such as the Washington Post and Scientific American. Outside of work, Allie and her husband enjoy playing with their fluffy cat Grape and organizing taste tests with friends.
