Chris Fiorillo

  • Staff Solutions Engineer, Code for America

Chris is a civic technologist and builder of products and people. His eleven-year federal career has spanned multiple roles across multiple agencies; at each stop, he’s worked to build lasting and meaningful change within complex systems. He’s established and led technical communities of practice, enterprise-grade process-improvement platforms, and cultural shifts that made technology feel useful again inside government, helping teams build the confidence, skills, and tools to turn ideas into sustainable systems.

Outside of work, he’s spent thousands of hours volunteering in youth sports, tax prep, community technical-skills training, and veteran-mentorship initiatives. He also plays at the intersection of AI, automation, and people, lives in the DMV region with his wife and two kiddos, dabbles on guitar, and has been known to blast some cinematic space disco or New England post-hardcore in the event that things get a little too quiet.
