Jess Manapul (she/her)

Jess Manapul (she/her) is the Community Manager of Volunteer Partnerships. Jess resides in Hawaiʻi and found her way into Code for America’s volunteer network when she joined the Code for Hawai’i Brigade.  Before Code for America, Jess worked with local tech & education organizations to help address community needs through place-based approaches. Her favorite projects involved the opportunities to work on two workforce development programs for Hawaiʻi residents—one of which was designed to teach digital skills to women displaced by COVID-19 and another that was designed to give Native Hawaiians and other indigenous groups the opportunity to learn new skills needed in today’s tech industry.
