Julie You (they/them)

Julie You is the Director of DEI Recruiting and Operations at Code for America. Prior to joining Code for America, they recruited in the education and health-tech spaces with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Julie brings recruiting and recruiting operations experience in order to build out recruiting infrastructure while concurrently executing growth goals. Outside of work, you can find Julie in the mountains hiking, backpacking, running, or snowboarding. They received a B.A in Communications with an emphasis on media effects and a B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis on social justice from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
