Laura Maldonado

Laura is a Program Specialist with the Criminal Justice team where she builds scalable processes to help expand the reach of our Clear My Record initiative. Before joining Code for America, she worked at a consulting firm creating tools and resources to increase efficiency across the board. Prior to systems building, Laura worked in community development, focusing on program management and evaluation, local partnerships and operations at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Contra Costa County. Originally from Mexico City, Laura holds a BA in American Studies from UC Berkeley. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and read inspiring non-fiction books.
