Change By Us

Organizing neighborhood projects is often a difficult task, but technology can help. Change By Us is a platform that transforms civic engagement by asking citizens to contribute ideas to change their cities and then take action through grassroots projects and community collaboration. Code for America partnered with the initial developers—CEOs for Cities and Local Projects—to not only deploy Change By Us in Philadelphia in 2011, but also to add features that make it easier for neighbors to share skills, time, and resources; features that make it easier for neighbors to work together.
