The Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), better known as food stamps, helps low income members of our community put food on the table. Unfortunately, information about retailers that accept food stamps is hard to find, especially for those who don’t always have internet access readily available. SnapFresh helps users to easily find the information they need to access quality food, from any cell phone, by simply texting text their location. The app will text back the address and directions to the five nearest quality food stores, enabling better, more informed, and healthier decisions. SnapFresh features regularly updated data from the USDA and works in every city in every state in the country.
