Sanket Karuri (he/him)

Sanket Karuri is the Vice President, New Ventures at Code for America. He has been a civic technologist and social entrepreneur for over a decade, most recently as the Chief Product Officer of Beam, formerly Edquity. Sanket’s speciality is in government systems modernization to drive efficiency and promote human dignity while creating cross-sector coalitions for implementation and evaluation. He has helped raise over $16M in impact venture capital and philanthropy to build technology that has delivered over $500M in direct financial assistance to promote economic mobility for over 400k families. Sanket has worked with over 150 government and higher education partners to improve service delivery of programs like housing vouchers, child care credits, disaster recovery funding, workforce development incentives, guaranteed income, and college scholarships. In his spare time, Sanket enjoys cycling and seeing local theatre productions. Sanket holds B.A.’s in Economics and South Asian Studies from Yale University.
