Jonathan Porat (he/him)

Jonathan is proud to be Code for America’s Chief Technology Officer. Most recently, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for the State of California, where he developed an internationally leading approach to State technology innovation and operations. Jonathan has spent his career working across federal, state, and local government to catalyze values-driven innovation to improve the way that public sector entities serve their residents. He has held technology-centered roles at the City of Seattle, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.
