Chris Correa (he/him)

Chris Correa is the Vice President of Engineering at Code for America, where he leads the engineering organization that builds the digital services powering Code for America’s programs.
Chris previously led the Solutions Engineering discipline, where he and his team partnered with government agencies across dozens of states to deliver technology solutions and technical guidance across all of Code for America’s delivery areas. Chris is committed to the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, and has led workshops with public sector leaders on applied uses of entity resolution and generative AI.
Before joining Code for America, Chris led data and product initiatives at The Bail Project, where he built data and technology infrastructure that helped the organization scale nationwide.
A New England native, Chris earned a B.A. at Hampshire College, an M.S. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and was a doctoral candidate at the University of Michigan. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
