Rae Pilarski (they/she)

Rae Pilarski (they/she) has dedicated their career to improving access to and ease of tax filing. Prior to joining Code for America, they served as a VITA Director and led the development of Valet VITA, an innovative tax preparation model. From 2023 to 2025, Rae was a member of the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC). They’re a proud desert dweller and University of Arizona alum.
