Theo Gibbs (they/she)

Theo is a UX designer, strategist, and design manager with 10+ years of experience tackling complex digital product and service innovation challenges in healthcare, agriculture, finance, renewable energy, and climate change. Prior to joining Code for America, she was Design Director at YLabs, where she spent five years building the design team, practice, and systems for a product portfolio spanning 16 countries. She brings significant experience managing high-performing, multicultural design teams, including being a manager of managers. She also taught at the Stanford d.school for 5 years, and is an experienced design trainer and facilitator. Outside of work, you can find her trail running, reading sci-fi, expanding her wig collection, or dreaming of her next outdoor adventure. She is a dual US/Argentine citizen.
