Clorama is a San Jose native and community organizer turned interaction designer. With her BS in Political Science at Santa Clara University, she spent her early career in community engagement with organizations like AmeriCorps, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, NYC Civic Corps. These experiences drew her to exploring technologies that could enhance social impact of community driven initiatives, leading her to attain her MA in Interaction Design Communication at the University of the Arts London in 2015. Since then, she’s worked as a UX Specialist for a start-up in London and independently freelances/volunteers in front-end/virtual reality development. Previous clients include: HBO Director/Actress Issa Rae, HERA UK (NGO), and the London Neuropsychology Clinic. She enjoys solo-traveling (18 countries and counting!) and could happily spend all her time designing virtual reality experiences.
