Contasia Placide (she/her)

Contasia is the Director of Events and Experiences at Code for America. Contasia’s primary responsibility is the production of the Code for America Summit, a conference that brings together government innovators, civic-minded technologist and entrepreneurs.  She will also support National Day of Civic Hacking, CodeAcross and the various fundraising and networking events Code for America produces. Before joining Code for America, Contasia was a Freelance Event Producer for companies such as Life According to HER and The Robert Toigo Foundation. Prior to working in Events, she worked in account management for advertising agencies TBWAChiatDay and Carol H. Williams Advertising.
