  • Former Qualitative Research Manager, Code for America

Dani is a Qualitative Research Manager at Code for America who helps lead research efforts to create more inclusive, people-centered public benefit programs.

She is a trained sociologist who has dedicated the past decade to researching people’s experiences navigating the medical and social safety net systems in California, with a special focus on Spanish-speaking and undocumented immigrant populations. Her forthcoming book, Navigating Aid, details the sum of her work.

When she’s not working, you can find her either running or hiking in the great outdoors, or sitting back with a cup of tea while admiring her two pet bunnies.

Dani holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from UC Berkeley and a B.A. from Pomona College.
