Dave Schlendorf (he/him)

Dave (he/him) is Chief Financial Officer at Code for America. Prior to joining Code for America, Dave spent over 18 years at the FBI where he was a key leader in FBI’s post-9/11 transformation. He held a number of roles with the FBI including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer, and Chief of Strategy. During his time at the FBI Dave focused on trying to make the FBI a more efficient, data-driven, diverse, and inclusive organization. Prior to his time in government, Dave worked in the finance industry. Dave is a native of Pittsburgh and now lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three children. When not working he can be found shuttling kids to hockey, dance, etc., and trying to keep in shape.  He has degrees from Duke University and Harvard Business School.
