Devon Hirth

Devon (he/him/his) is a multi-disciplinary designer who has always been interested in the power of design to address complex social challenges. In 2016 he participated in the Blue Ridge Labs @ Robinhood Fellowship, creating digital products to help people in New York City access legal services.

Before joining Code for America, he spent five years in the New York City Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity, helping New Yorkers access the social safety net and drive down poverty. There he witnessed the need for reliable and equitable digital services in 2020 while helping New Yorkers navigate social services and find work during the onset of the pandemic.

Originally from Saint Louis, MO, he currently lives in Brooklyn with his family.
