Jor Arcila (he/him)

Jor Arcila is a Junior Designer at Code for America. Before joining Code for America, Jor held a role as an  Instructional Associate with General Assembly. Jor has not always been a UX designer but has always held roles related to civic engagement, social justice, and the nonprofit sector. His family’s roots from a small town in Colombia, Buenaventura, contribute to his perspective on the importance of being empathy-centered. He integrates his passion for providing access and allocating resources for underserved communities in his design projects. In his free time, he enjoys visiting museums, street photography, dancing to Salsa music, and catching a good game of soccer.
