Kelly Benton

  • Senior Service Designer, Code for America

A culture-enthusiast who loves getting immersed in the community, Kelly is a service designer who enjoyes taking on new challenges with a multi-facited approach. Her focus on inclusive and accessible practices helps to guide her design processes in order to better address underserved needs. She strives to ensure there is equitable considerations at every point throughout the journey through raising the question not only during research, but at the design table: ‘Who are we missing?’. During her time at Philips Healthcare she was able to put this into action by applying a human-centered mindset on their end-to-end patient experiences. Her passion for people started when she was early in her youth and has evolved during her time as she attended The Savannah College of Art and Design, where she received a BFA in Service Design with a minor in Business Management and Entreprenurship. Kelly is currently residing in Texas where she can be near her loved ones, taking each day as it comes she likes getting outdoors, painting, and catching a good movie at the theater!
