Madison Ross-Ryan (she/her)

Madison Ross-Ryan (she/her) is a User Experience Designer from Chicago, IL. She has worked in the civic tech space for the last three years, and has volunteered with organizations such as Code312, U.S. Digital Response, and Coding it Forward. Before jumping into civic tech, Madison had a background in design consulting and worked with Fortune 500 companies in industries ranging from finance to automation.

As a designer and researcher, Madison is specifically interested in designing for the unintended consequences of what we build and is dedicated to creating equitable systems. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois and a Certificate in Social Innovation Design from the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time, she is working on launching a travel blog and training her corgi, Meatball, to become a therapy dog.
