Mary De Sopo (she/her)

Mary De Sopo (she/her) is a Recruiting Manager at Code for America. With the lens of equity and inclusion, Mary executes full-cycle recruiting, manages and supports a team of recruiters, and works collaboratively across the organization for hiring goals. Prior to joining Code for America, Mary spent seven years at UT Austin, focusing on academic advising, career development, and connecting students and employers for post-graduation opportunities.

Mary earned an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from UT Austin and a B.A. in Sociology from Rutgers University. Outside of work, she spends most of her time outdoors, checking out local live music, and finding new breweries or restaurants to try! Mary is a NJ native and has been based in Austin since 2014.
