Melenie Hernandez is a people-centered HR leader known for building high-performing, inclusive teams and fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and growth. With a strong commitment to doing what’s right, she leads with transparency, integrity, and a deep respect for others—aligning people strategies to organizational impact. Melenie is driven by mission-oriented work and is passionate about creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive while contributing to something larger than themselves.

Melenie began her career in retail management before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She holds a SHRM-SCP certification and is certified in investigative interviewing for HR professionals.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Melenie enjoys hiking California’s landscapes with her wife, Raquel. She loves spending time with her three adult children—Dominic, Maia, and Andy—and celebrating life as a new grandmother to Charlotte. At home, she’s kept busy by her two teacup Yorkies, Benito and Frida.
