Tahsina Islam

Tahsina (pronouns she/her) is excited to join CfA as a software engineering apprentice pivoting from her career in construction. She currently attends Georgia Tech studying computer science with a specialization in interactive intelligence. She had graduated from NYU with a degree in chemical engineering and worked at Turner Construction working on commercial interior projects.

During her free time, Tahsina loves bringing friends and family together for one too many rounds of board games, or a good Bollywood movie. She has loved dancing since she was a little kid and her favorite genre of music is reggaeton. Tahsina grew up in Queens, NY and now resides in New Jersey as an owner of two cats and many house plants.
