Zeryn Sarpangal

Zeryn Sarpangal is the Chief Financial and People Officer at Code for America. Prior to joining Code for America, Zeryn worked in various roles on the business side, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Achaogen, a public biopharmaceutical company focused on the unmet need of multi-drug resistant bacterial infections. She also has prior experience as the Vice President of Finance & Operations at Identified, an HR data analytics company, an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, and a healthcare investment banking analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She lives in Burlingame with her husband and two daughters.
