​Lauren Haynes

Lauren Haynes is a Group Product Manager at Code for America. She previously worked at Arity leading the Smart City efforts in working with governments and telematics data. She also worked at the Center for Data Science and Public Policy at the University of Chicago as Associate Director, working with governments and non-profits on Data Science for Social Good projects across a variety of issues from criminal justice, public safety, environment, education, and more. Prior to UChicago, Lauren worked at Give Forward, the Ounce of Prevention Fund, and Accenture’s Technology Labs. Lauren graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a BS in General Engineering, focusing on Computer Science and Human Computer Interaction.Outside of work, Lauren serves on the Board of Trustees for the University YMCA in Urbana Champaign and previously served on the Board of Directors for BreakAway, both organizations focused on developing student leadership. She is also an avid swing dancer (specifically Lindy Hop), board gamer, and Chiditarod racer/fundraiser.
