We’re showing what’s possible

Government can and should work well for everyone. This year, we helped millions of people apply for food benefits, access flexible cash, and clear eligible criminal records. When we deploy human-centered technology, we reduce poverty, advance equity, and improve public services.

Your gifts this holiday season will help us continue our work to transform the relationship between government and the people it serves.

We’ve raised the $15K needed to unlock an additional $15K from the Emily Benatar Foundation! A huge thank you to the Code for America community!

We’re building a human-centered safety net to transform lives in positive, measurable ways—making our systems and society more equitable and resilient.

This year, we helped more than 2.8 million people apply for food assistance and embarked on one of our most ambitious projects to address poverty and advance equity: a partnership initiative with 15 states to deliver $30 billion in safety net benefits to 13 million people.

We believe that no one should be held back by an old criminal record.

We supported Colorado, Rhode Island, and Oklahoma in pursuing automatic record clearance laws and supported implementation of automatic record clearance laws in Utah that will bring relief to more than 500,000 people.

We’re working to make sure that benefits delivered through the tax system make their way into the pockets that need them most.

Delivered more than $340 million in flexible cash, including more than $230 million through GetCTC.org to families nationwide and, for the first time ever, in Puerto Rico.

We’re leveraging the power of our 25,000+ volunteer Network working collectively on issues like emergency response, criminal justice, housing, and more.

We’re building a community of people-centered problem solvers who are dedicated to using technology to better their communities.
