Three Additional Tentative Agreements Reached Between Code for America and CfA Workers United, Bringing Total to 13

Even as Code for America and CfA Workers United were engaged this week on National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearings on Unit Definition, we have continued the negotiation process on outstanding issues.

We are pleased to share that the parties have agreed to three additional tentative agreements, bringing the total to 13 reached since April 2022. Tentative agreements between Code for America and the union now include discipline and discharge, seniority and layoff, and safe working environment.

We are proud of the progress we have made in partnership with CfA Workers United to establish tentative agreements on these substantive issues. We look forward to negotiating additional proposals and continue to engage on outstanding issues, in the weeks ahead. The goal: reaching a collective bargaining agreement that supports our mission of working shoulder to shoulder with government and works for Code for America, our team members, and can serve as a model for organizations like ours in the future.
