Amita Shukla

Amita Shukla graduated from Columbia University last year, where she studied computer science and electrical engineering. At Columbia, she did research in databases and human-computer interaction. Her internship experiences to date have been with various government-related organizations, including the U.N., State Department, and the ACLU, and she is passionate about using human-centered design to improve government services.

She is from a very small town in New Jersey and grew up three blocks from where the Band-Aid was invented. Her quarantine activities have included learning to crochet and succumbing to the sourdough craze.
