Betsy Valu Rohney
- Former Qualitative Researcher, Code for America
Betsy is a Qualitative Researcher at Code for America. She began as a community manager at Lioness Health, encouraging honest conversations about relationships and intimacy. Her insights helped guide designers and engineers to develop intuitive health products with biofeedback technology. She later attended UC Berkeley as a re-entry student, leading her own research project about heritage language learning and identity. After graduation, she co-founded Oceania Connects, an organization amplifying Pacific Islander perspectives in the media. She loves cats and has a deep appreciation for all things taro-flavored. You can find her exploring new take-out options online or socially distancing at Lake Chabot.
