Debs Schrimmer

Debs Schrimmer joined Code for America in August 2014. As Content and Community Lead, Debs helps develop resources for local government staff and community organizers to use modern technology tools to foster collaboration, improve internal government processes and service delivery, and more effectively address community needs. Debs joins Code for America with years of experience in local, regional, and federal government. Most recently, Debs worked for the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG), a regional planning agency that works with 22 cities and 6 counties in the Sacramento region. Debs graduated maxima cum laude from UC Davis with a Bachelors of Science in Community and Regional Development.
