Dominique Mann

  • Former Associate Director of Program Communications, Code for America

Dominique is an Associate Director of Program Communications at Code for America, a multifaceted storyteller, and an Obama White House alum. She previously worked as a communications manager and writer for GE, responsible for helping launch a GE startup related to AI, robotics, and cloud computing. Dominique also worked for the communications firm Edelman, with a variety of tech-focused clients. Prior to these experiences, Dominique was a media affairs manager and writer for the Obama White House — and before then communications staff member for President Obama’s reelection campaign in Chicago. Dominique has also been a producer, writer, and reporter for NBC across broadcast and digital platforms. She graduated from Columbia University and grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts.  In her spare time, Dominique writes fiction podcast content, merged with VR sound — in addition to another literary pursuit, acting, wildlife photography, and various philanthropic/grassroots endeavors. Above all, she’s an advocate for belonging at heart.
