Jo Mengarelli

Prior to working at Code for America Jo worked at various non-profit and for-profit companies including The Sierra Club, Marin Community Foundation as Investment Accountant, andCamelBak Products, Inc. Jo is from San Rafael, California and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University and a Teaching Credential from Dominican University. Her passion is rescuing dogs, especially seniors. She volunteers for Lily’s Legacy Senior DogSanctuary in Petaluma and is on their Board of Directors. She has a fondness for retired racing greyhounds and has been adopting them from Golden State Greyhound Adoption since 2008.Any weekend you can find her out of doors hiking with her husband, three greyhounds and two German shepherds, or attending yoga class.
