  • Staff Solutions Engineer, Code for America

Leo is a software and data engineer with a career spent at the intersection of altruism and technology. He’s led cross functional, non-profit engineering teams to establish transparent, repeatable processes and sustainable data infrastructure. Most recently he worked at Morris Animal Foundation on the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, a longitudinal cohort study of golden retrievers. Leo and his team successfully transitioned the Study from a third party to full in house operations. Before that, Leo worked at the Open Media Foundation, building websites and applications for over a hundred non-profits and government sector clients. Leo believes that technology powered by human-centered design and data informed decision making can transform lives and society.
