  • Former Senior Program Manager, Integrated Benefits, Code for America

Nalleli is a Senior Program Manager on the Integrated Benefits team at Code for America. Her past work has focused on community-based public health, specifically developing and implementing community-centered nutrition education and sexual and reproductive health programming in diverse community settings. She worked at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank for 5 years, where she primarily worked on delivering nutrition education programming in a diverse community setting. While at the Food Bank, she developed and implemented Nudges, a program that used behavioral economics to encourage behavior change around individual nutrition choices. In addition, she worked closely with an internal cross-functional team to develop an internal and external facing data dashboard used to inform programmatic decisions.

She is passionate about addressing food security and has worked at both the nonprofit and federal level to find creative ways to advocate for community needs. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Health Education and from the University of San Francisco with a Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Behavioral Health. She is an avid lover of plants, can get lost in the kitchen for hours as she cooks fun new meals, and loves samba-ing through the week as her form of self-care.
