Nathaniel Olin (he/him)

  • Data Science Manager, Code for America

Nat has a background in applying quantitative social science to practical questions in politics, policy, and social activism. He’s interested in presenting insights from data in intuitive visual ways, testing real-world interventions creatively and rigorously, and building tools to make collaborative work on important issues more efficient and reliable. Before CFA he worked for a social mobilization agency, spent four years evaluating municipal government services, and tested political campaign effectiveness with randomized experiments. He studied political science at UW-Madison and international relations at Stanford, and spends his free time collecting more board games than he has time to play.
