Symonne Singleton

Symonne is a Software Engineer at Code for America, working on the Clear My Record team. She is passionate about facilitating empathetic and effective technology solutions to everyday obstacles faced by under-served populations. Prior to joining Code for America, she was a Software Engineering Fellow at Horizons School of Technology. She received her B.A. in History and Visual Media Studies from Duke University, where she was awarded the Oliver W Koonz Human Rights Writing Prize for her historical research on postmodern prison reform.
